Horse & Tack Sale

 

When: Wednesday,  June 17th 2009

Where:  Coalfield Agricultural Center

               /Red Onion Mountain

Take Pound exit off US 23 and continue on Rt. 83 toward Clintwood.

Entrance will be on the left at the Coalfield Agricultural Center Sign.

 

TACK SALE Starts at 4:00 p.m.

HORSE SALE Starts at 6:00 p.m.

Receive horses from 12 noon - 7:00 p.m.

All horses entering the grounds must have a negative coggins test within 6 months of sale day and pay $20 sale or no-sale bill per horse.

 

All horses must have a halter and lead rope that goes with the animal.  If you do not observe this rule, a halter and lead rope will be supplied and charged to the seller.

► All registered horses must have all registered papers in order and signed transfer slip or they will be sold as grade horses.  All mares selling as bred must have a veterinarian’s certificate dated within 14 days of sale date.  Each owner or consignor will make known the guarantee he desires for his animal, and will be responsible thereon.  Such guarantee will be announced when the animal is offered for sale.  The Coalfield Agricultural Center does not guarantee or warrant the condition or soundness of any animal offered for sale.  If no such announcements are made, the animal will be sold in an “as is” condition.  The buyer assumes full control, responsibility and expense for the animal immediately upon the fall of the auctioneer’s gavel.  No statement or warranty of sell / or the sale committee shall be subject to challenge or question.  Absolutely no Drugs or Alcoholic beverages allowed on the Grounds.
